Bouncers Find Hope in God's Word

Bouncers continue at their work sites in Kingwood, TX. A group of Bouncers is working at Camp Holy Wild installing sheet rock. The work that Bouncers are doing this week will have a lasting impact on those who use Camp Holy Wild's facilities for youth camps and retreats.

Bouncers work out in the community from 7am to 4pm, and then return to Kingwood First Baptist Church for a hot shower, dinner, and worship. Bouncers participated in a Concert of Prayer tonight where they sought the Lord through individual and group prayer. Students meditated on scriptures from Acts that revealed the importance of prayer in the early Church. Brian Pearce, the Missions Coordinator, encouraged Bouncers to live a life marked by intimate prayer even after their week at Bounce.

The Lord has been working mightily at Bounce and 3 students have come to know the Lord! Bouncers are not only restoring hope to communities who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey, but they are also growing deeper in their relationship with God. Bouncers are given the opportunity to intimately interact with God through worship, Youth Group Reflections, and Team Devotionals at the work sites. Our hope is that Bouncers would leave this week with a desire to study God's word and to live a life marked by missions.
