How old were you when you became a Christian and what is the strongest memory about that time?

I was 10 years old and very eager to be baptized.

Dallas Baptist University

If you did any post-graduate work, where did you attend and what degree did you earn?

Honorary Doctorate and am currently enrolled in Dallas Baptist in pursuit of my Master's Degree.

What is something unique about your church?

We have a large congregation with a "small" church feel and a true heart to serve. I have a true connection with my congregants and they all know that I am never "off-limits" to them at anytime.

What is a mission or ministry that you are most proud of your church for doing?

Our Mission & Outreach Ministry serves as an umbrella to a variety of ministries and partners with the Pastor to facilitate life changes. We do so by showing that we care and are concerned about the physical and spiritual well-being of others. We engage our church family to reach out to one a one another and our community. We have a platform from which we can share the love of Jesus Christ in word and deed. This involves, but not limited to, community projects, training, financial support for local and foreign mission works and mission trips.

How did you know you were called to be a pastor?

Through guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit.

What is your favorite thing to teach on?

Love and Stewardship

What other activities are you involved in?

I love football and enjoy attending high school and college games. I am the spiritual advisor for the Desoto Eagles and am there to encourage them at every game. I also enjoy family time as we fellowship and play various games.

What has been the most rewarding thing about working with the DeSoto Police Department?

I have the opportunity to counsel with families during their time of tragedy.

What position did you play in football? What was your greatest moment as a player?

Running back and my greatest moment was when I scored 3 touchdowns in one game.

What story does your family always tell about you?

How I managed to survive my childhood with 7 older sisters who insisted on attempting to make me the live play doll.
