BOUNCE Worship has Been a Success!

On the third day of work here in Waco, some teams have finished the house on their worksite and the end is in sight for all the other groups. Even though students have been spending most of their days working, some highlights from the week have occurred away from the worksites. Every evening, BOUNCERS are able to worship together. In this time, students are able to hear from this week's worship speaker, Brian Pearce, as he encourages them with a message each night.

Brian has been talking about the life of Peter, which includes the failures and the triumphs. He has been encouraging the students to "step out of the boat (Matthew 14:29)" and start trusting Jesus more and more. He has been encouraging students to really consider who Jesus is to them and to press in and keep pursuing Him further.

After worship each night, BOUNCERS spend time reflecting on the day with their youth group. They are able to share what's been going on in their hearts on the worksites, in worship or anywhere else.

There is one more day of work remaining for BOUNCERS. The students are tired, but are feeling very accomplished as they have made great improvements on their ministry worksites. Pray that God be glorified through the rest of the time here in Waco!
