Bouncers Assemble in Portland Texas!

Bouncers are here and ready for an action-packed week in Coastal Bend! One-hundred-and-twelve students from five churches including FBC Plano, Morse St. Baptist Church, Central Baptist Church, Texoma Cowboy Church, and Crossroads Church will be doing disaster recovery work to help with hurricane Harvey rehabilitation.

This week’s Mission Coordinator, Aaron Austin (assisted by his better half, Leighanne Austin), and Construction Coordinator, Charles Carroll, have worked hard to plan an action-packed week for our Bouncers. We are thankful for our worship speaker (Jeff Howard), First Aid Coordinator (Michaela Sandefer), the cooking crew, collegiate staff, lodging facility (FBC Portland), shower trailer workers, and other volunteers who make this week possible.

Please be praying for our Bouncers to have a safe week in the humidity and heat this week. Pray that students would fall madly in love with God and His people as they serve communities and minister to/with each other. We are excited about the stories we will hear this week. Stay tuned for more!

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:10
