Highlighting BOUNCE Worship

Some of the highlights of this week of BOUNCE have been what happens off of the worksite. Every evening, BOUNCERS join together in worship. It has been a refreshing time of reflection for many of the students. It is a time when students can sing praises to God and learn about His Word.

Worship speaker, Ryan Jespersen, has been speaking about the life of the Apostle Peter. He has been highlighting the times that Peter failed, but, ultimately, experienced triumph through grace. He has encouraged students to "step out of the boat (Matthew 14:29)" and put their trust Jesus, whether it be for salvation or being missional and bold in everyday life.

BOUNCERS have been invited each night to respond to God in whatever way they need to. Ryan Jespersen has encouraged the students to respond to God's calling in their lives. He really drove home the point that everyone fails, just like Peter.

After the worship service, BOUNCERS spend time with their youth groups. Here, they reflect on the day and on worship and share with one another how God is moving in their lives and on their worksites. Many teams have invited the homeowners they are serving to come to the final worship session on Friday night.

BOUNCERS have one more day of work ahead of them tomorrow. Most teams are close to being finished with their assigned projects on their ministry worksites. Students are feeling more and more accomplished as the week starts to come to a close.
